I’ve enjoyed a very rewarding broadcasting career in Calgary at Global Television and 770 CHQR. It allowed me to connect with many residents. Throughout those years I’ve been inspired by the incredible work ethic and strong commitment to community that so many Calgarians believe in.
I’ve lived in Calgary Mountainview for more than thirty years where, together with my husband Grant, we raised two great kids. I’m an active community member, currently serving as Vice President on the Rosedale Community Association and volunteering with Special Olympics Calgary.
I became an Alberta Party member more than a year ago because I was discouraged by the divisive nature of politics and felt Albertans needed a more centrist choice. Alberta Party MLA Greg Clark has inspired me with his efforts to raise the level of dialogue in the legislature to one of collaboration rather than confrontation.
I have always believed that governments must be responsible stewards of our taxdollars and that is why I fully support the Alberta Party’s plan to balance the budget. I am proud of the inclusive nature of the party because it truly represents the diversity of our great province.
I am a member of Calgary Aquamums, a masters synchronized swim team and I enjoy belting out some tunes with Cool Choir.
